Pack a change of clothes and any medication in cabin bags, because checked luggage is not accessible during the trip. International and domestic flights operate from the same integrated terminal building, which makes a domestic connection simpler than at some larger Indian airports.

Arrivals from the Gulf and Southeast Asia often land in the early morning. If relatives are driving in to meet you, suggest they check the live arrival time before leaving home, since a delay at the hub flows straight through to HYD. For travellers heading to the western suburbs such as Gachibowli or HITEC City, the trip is often quicker than to the older parts of the city.
